For seven generations the Schwedhelm Family has been running agriculture businesses throughout Northeastern Nebraska. Our family began when Henry Schwedhelm Homesteaded by the town of Bancroft, NE in 1886. Since then our family has battled dust bowls, economic depressions, and droughts to keep food on the tables of families all over America. Today Kevin and Shelly Schwedhelm have built Schwedhelm Ranch just outside of Fort Calhoun, NE. Here the family raises beef cattle, hay, and hops. Each member of our family has certain gifts, and talents that contributes to the success of the ranch.
